Dental Background
Karen joined us in 2012 as our associate dentist and became a partner at the practice in 2019.
Karen graduated from University if Bristol in 1993 and completed her vocational training in Swansea, South Wales. She then worked in London for several years, first in general practice and then in the Tower Hamlets PCT.
A longing for sunshine then overcame her and so Karen worked in tropical North Queensland, Australia for seven years. Two children later Karen returned to the UK and settled in beautiful Cornwall.
Karen is at the practice Mondays to Fridays and offers evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

After years of anxiously neglecting my teeth, I took the plunge to see Dr. Rainsberry. She’s very caring and compassionate, gentle and human! Does a great job – I have recommended the surgery to my support group for autistic people who also struggle in medical environments. I will be a repeat visitor until my teeth are at optimum.
Dr Martin Edwards is a brilliant a very patient dentist I would recommend him to anyone.
Went for a tooth extraction, then 2 weeks later a hygiene clean… Both was amazing services.. Lovely staff… My teeth are feeling and looking better than other 😊.
